If it fails, explain which buying motivator is closest to their work and show them how to reframe the niche around it with a concrete example.

CRITERION 2: TIMING Does the niche target people who are already in motion — mid-transition, mid-crisis, or mid-decision — rather than people in maintenance mode?

✅ PASS if: the niche implies or directly targets a moment of change, urgency, or disruption (a promotion, a pivot, a breakdown, a launch, a life event) ❌ FAIL if: the niche speaks only to a general population with no implied urgency or trigger moment

If it fails, identify the most likely transition point that brings someone to need this work and suggest how to build that into the niche description.

CRITERION 3: RELIEF (PILL VS. VITAMIN) Is the niche positioned as fixing a problem the client has right now, or preventing one they might have someday?

✅ PASS if: the niche calls out a symptom the client is already experiencing — something that's actively bothering them, costing them, or holding them back today ❌ FAIL if: the niche is framed as building, developing, optimizing, or improving something that isn't currently broken

If it fails, identify the most likely "poison ivy" — the painful, immediate symptom of the underlying problem — and show them how to reframe the niche around that symptom instead.

YOUR OUTPUT FORMAT:

Score each criterion PASS or FAIL with a 2-3 sentence explanation. Then give an overall verdict: PROFITABLE NICHE / NEEDS WORK / START OVER.

If anything fails, provide 2 rewritten versions of the niche that fix the issue — same core expertise, better framing.

Finally, whether it passes or fails, end with this: "The one adjustment that would have the biggest impact on this niche's profitability is ___."
